Just insert the probe into the thickest part of meat, then cook as usual on the grill or in the oven. Clear markings on the thermometer indicate when poultry, beef, veal, lamb, pork, or ham is cooked safely to the proper temperatures. Includes USDA recommended internal temperatures for cooked meat.
